You should check out Sawyer Clarkson (a JR) as well from Belle Fourche HS, SD. He's run at least 6 races under 15:35 this season and has a PR (run this season) of 15:17. He's undefeated this year in South Dakota and won the big Augie twilight meet back in September (the course was long so everyone was slow...he ran around 15:30 but was at sjb-15 through the 5k)

I don't know how the ranking is determined, but I think this guy deserves a look at least!

If William Zegarski is not on the next batch of rankings way up there then your analytical approach is flawed. The kid just ran 14:47 on a course that Nate Mountain(Brooks PR champ) ran 14:55 and Dustin Horter (6th NXN) and Conant Smith (3rd NXN) ran 14:56. The evidence for him being a top 5 athlete in the nation is pretty concrete from just that. He will end up beating the 22nd runner on this list by 30 seconds at state.

William is definitely on the radar. He'll be on the next list. Thanks!
